A note from Cordelia

From the moment the New Look triumphed, in 1947, Christian Dior took on the role of ambassador for French fashion. His desire to glorify the excellence of haute couture would let him travel the globe - by boat, plane or train – and discover inspiring ports of call. In his memoirs, he reflected: "Fabric is the sole vehicle for our dreams. And fashion, in sum, comes from a dream, and dreaming is an escape."* This season, I wanted to celebrate his legacy by bringing together two simultaneously contrasting and complementary universes Dior adored: the vibrant, inimitable energy of New York, and the plenitude of a haven filled with lush, soothing, imaginary vegetation.

The Baby Dior Spring 2025 collection pays homage to his incredible fascination with the Big Apple, and to the ties the House wove with that marvelous destination from the very beginning. In that spirit, I designed this season's models around three stories that explore many facets of that multicultural metropolis, a place where anything is possible. The first chapter – Dior Manhattan – puts into perspective the city's iconic architecture and its green spaces – notably Central Park – with enchanting, infinitely romantic prints. The second theme, entitled Dior Broadway and animated by the effervescence of the Roaring Twenties, is revealed with pieces in iridescent hues further enhanced with sparkles, as if they were inhabited by the magic of grand spectacles and parties. The third, Dior Soho, focuses on comfort, with knitwear in shades of gray, pink or black, for a look that's urban and ultramodern yet infused with softness.

This captivating Dior odyssey continues in the heart of a fabulous garden, an ode to the founding couturier's love of nature. A prolongation of that sincere, perpetually reinvented affinity, the Baby Dior Summer 2025 line stars gabardine dresses and ethereal jackets and skirts blossoming with delicate flowers, evoking eternal spring. Like an invitation on a bucolic and enchanted interlude, other creations are constellated with majestic cherry motifs.

An endless dream of elsewhere that continues to illuminate the unique essence of Dior style.
